Restaurant – Greens
Greens is almost an institution for the Manchester vegan community. Without a doubt, one of the most recommended vegetarian restaurants in the city, the acclaimed chef Simon Rimmer continues to invent new and delicious vegetarian dishes. Greens restaurant has served the Didsbury Manchester district since 1990 and is still ready to surprise you… and not only with the food!
Activity – Festival Square
Albert Square is once again transformed into the amazing Festival Square this year. The home of the Manchester International Festival right in the heart of the city. From Ice cream, Ginger’s Comfort Emporium to Indian street food Manjit’s Kitchen, and craft beers from JW Lees to cocktails, the Festival Square food traders will be out and about until the 21st of July.

Restaurant – Vertigo
Let’s go back to Manchester and bring to light the plant-based eatery Vertigo at 18 Cross Street. Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner but also drinks and cakes can be savoured inside or out. With its two menus, Vertigo offers you a special place to share waffles, smoothie bowls, sandwiches and a choice of falafel for Lunch.
Activity – GRUB Plant Powered Sundays
This is Europe’s first weekly vegan street food market. An entire food and drinks lineup is released every Sunday bringing you a vegan-friendly bar with all the best local beers, wines and soft drinks in the middle of Manchester. You can check the FAQ on the event page.

Activity – London Pride 2019
Fancy a quick road trip this weekend? Pop into London city tomorrow for this year’s Pride Parade, it will be bigger, brighter and more colourful than ever! The Pride of London is due to start at 12 pm at Portland Place, Marylebone. The march will go across different famous locations in the city such as Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Trafalgar Square… The celebrations will carry on until late and performances on stage will be held during the entire parade. The Drag Brunch, the Community Village, the Family area, … You have much to choose from.
