Hello! We are back in London this weekend with a bunch of places to go and activities to do and of course, a special STRONG ROOTS recipe for a little at-home BBQ. Tell us what you’ve been up to!
Saturday 13/07 :
Restaurant – Mildreds
With 4 London locations, there is no more doubt that Mildreds won our Londonian hearts. A true windfall for any vegetarians and the first restaurant in Soho. Their summer menu will offer you starters such as gyoza dumplings, Roman-style artichokes, but mostly burgers and main dishes. Trust us, this is a must visit!
Activity – Bohemia Place Market London Food Fair
The Bohemia Place Market summer series is going to bring you the best treasures of London this weekend. Over 50 top food traders will be present for two days to sample it all. Visitors can try delicious street food treats, inspired by cuisines from all over the world. If you can’t make it, the Food Fair will be up once a month until September!
Sunday 14/07 :
Restaurant – Spicebox
Looking for something spicy? This 100% plant-based Indian restaurant will do the job! You can enjoy loads of snacks and dishes along with an impressive brunch offering. The Doffles is a must-taste, for real.

Activity – OmFest London
Another festival but this one is a little bit special. Taking place in the marvellous Shoreditch Gardens, let yourself be tempted by vegan eats, take part in yoga and meditation workshops, and have a discussion with coaches and spiritual mentors. The festival is created to bring families together, nourish your body and your mind, take the lead!
Strong Roots Recipe – Loaded Nacho Style Sweet Potato Fries
We’ve all had nachos, but how about BBQ’ed nacho-style fries? This recipe adds an amazing smokey, char-grilled flavour to our fries, from the barbecue. The creaminess of the guac, combined with the spicy tomato salsa and sweetness of the fries, this dish is a flavour explosion!
