Going to Liverpool this week with a few recommendations
Saturday 20/07 :
Restaurant – Indigo Greens
We highly recommend this one of a kind plant-based eatery. Indigo Greens focuses on being a trustworthy purveyor of vibrant, tasty, nutritionally rich whole foods. It is abundantly clear that meticulous attention to detail and research has gone into carefully curating a menu with ingredients sourced sustainably from around the globe. This is not your average restaurant we love that they offer organic baby food and freezer meals, consistent efforts like this show how far the restaurant is going to demonstrate how a plant-based diet is suited to any lifestyle.
Activity – Liverpool International Music Festival
An event we have been looking forward to for months is finally here. Set in the idyllic grounds of Sefton Park, this two-day festival brings some major acts to a lineup blended with emerging local talent. The forecast for this weekend is predicting blue skies and blistering sun and we can’t think of anywhere we would rather be, just make sure to pack your sunscreen.
Tickets are still available here.
Sunday 21/07 :
Restaurant – Sanskruti
Sanskruti truly believes that “Indian food is more than just heat but also about the perfect marriage of aromatics herbs and spices”. Nominated one of the top 50 Vegan restaurants in the world, this is one spot that commits itself to bringing together the best of a cuisine developed over centuries of fine-tuning to modern day demands and in our opinion, no one does it quite as well in Liverpool!
Activity – Hope Street Makers Market
Advice to Liverpool food lovers, this is the third Sunday of the month! Join the Makers Market Liverpool for the best local artisan market around. Every month, you’ll find all kinds of independent makers and creators but also a community who highlight traditional craftsmanship.
The market is still running until the end of the summer for 4 more Sunday.
