Restaraunt- Tang
How could we possibly continue to publish these weekend planners without dropping an honourable mention to the glorious purveyor of deliciousness that is Tang? Dropping in for Brunch or lunch, it’s simply a matter of fact that what you receive will be a sizeable portion of goodness second to none in the city which will suit a plant-based diet and be downright delectable regardless of what you order. Their Morrocan wraps are one of the tastiest bets for lunch in the city and their make-your-own salad bowls allow you to put your own flavoursome collection together. The attention to detail in the place is beyond obvious and one spot you’ll be always be welcomed with a smile we couldn’t recommend either of their city-centre locations any more!
Activity- Dublin City Liffey Swim
Don’t worry, this is an event you can watch from the sidelines and you won’t see any of us braving the elements either! The oldest continually run swimming race in Europe is nothing less than a spectacle held under 12 key bridges. Participation isn’t for the faint-hearted but cheering those brave souls who do give it a go is still welcomed, especially for the rousing rendition of Molly Malone on the pontoon prior to the event to instil some fire in the bellies of the swimmers, they’ll need it!

Activity- Summer Sundays on College Green
It’s international clown week and we’re as surprised to be writing that as you are to be reading it! To finish off a brilliant series of summertime events as college green begins the pedestrianisation process there will be a collection of performances by the City Carnival. A family-friendly event with plenty of activities featuring Facepainters, Stilt-Walkers and Jugglers amongst many more. The bank holiday is the perfect opportunity for some family time after all!
Restaraunt/Café- Meet Me In The Morning
Nestled on Kevin Street just off of Camden Street, this is a hidden gem for those looking for some plant-based goodness. The menu is constantly updated in fitting with the restaurant’s vibrant enthusiasm for keeping things fresh. A major bonus which really adds to the place is a lovely bunch of staff who seem to genuinely care about everyone who steps foot in the restaurant or café!
