Summer Planner Cork July 27th – 28th

25 Jul 2019 | Events

We’re back this week with a different location but always with the same desire to share the best places and plans for your summer! Happy weekend!

Saturday 27th :

Street FoodThe Rocket Man

The Rocket Man

The Rocket Man is an all-encompassing street food company; owning a salad bar, planning events and a specialist in farmer’s markets. They believe that a healthy diet should involve tasty ingredients served in the right proportions. The salads change according to the seasons which is a lovely touch also. If you want to show up in any of their locations, you can click here and check out the selection.

ActivityParty in the Park

Party In the Park

The family-friendly events will be held in the Millstreet Town Park with an entire program for families of all ages. At noon, the event kicks off with the Teddy Bear’s Picnic which is just adorable! Follow up by afternoon tea at 3 pm and if this brilliant weather keeps up, a BBQ under the sun at 5 pm! Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without some music too!

The entrance is free but you need to pay €15 fee per serving if you want to attend the Afternoon tea and the BBQ & DJ (€5 + €10).

Sunday 28th :

RestaurantParadiso

Paradiso

An institution of the Cork dining scene which began to attract international attention in 1993 and still continues to do so to this day. The restaurant just received the “Collaboration of the year” award for its work with the Gort-Na-Nian Farm. Denis Cotter and Ger O’Toole, co-owners of the restaurant, know exactly how they want to run their place and that is what makes it one of our favourite spots in the city, constantly changing and improving, we are delighted that this place never goes stale! Continually evolving, Paradiso focus on offering you the best in seasonal ingredients and vegetables, and nothing else.

ActivityThe Positive Market

The Positive Market

From 11:00 to 16:00, the Positive Market is back for its final event of the Summer. Promoting sustainability in all its glory, the event celebrates music, food, crafts and activism. The list of plant-based eats isn’t fully announced but be ready to enjoy the savours of Veganko, Healthy Made Delicious, Hello Vegans, SensAsian Fare, Banana Melon Kitchen, Gems Coffee and so much more. That sounds like a little something for everyone if you ask us?

The event is free but you still need to register on Eventbrite
