Is the full range moving into cardboard boxes?
We are constantly trying to improve and work on ensuring that our packaging is more environmentally friendly - this is extremely important to us. Our burger products are moving into boxes before end of 2020 and we moved the majority of our packaging to a recyclable film over a year ago.
-
Why are some products packaged in plastic?
While we would love to have moved our entire range into boxes before the year is out, due to considerations around food quality and freshness we have had to keep a small number of products in plastic film for the time being. We know this is not ideal. However, this LDPE 4 plastic is recyclable, and we are working on dedicated solutions for all of our consumers worldwide in order to offer recycling options.
-

This year we will be assessing all of our products for their environmental impact, and identifying the areas in our supply chain where we can improve things. Watch this space for positive developments in this regard, as we will definitely be sharing our news.

We use a responsible sourcing platform to ensure that we can stand over our supply chain - making sure that those we work with are treated and compensated fairly, and that our suppliers are conscientious about their own impact on the environment.
-
Are you able to recycle your product bags?
We switched our packaging over to a new recyclable film last year. We recommend contacting your local bin provider to ensure they can take LDPE 4. We know how important it is for our customers and our planet as a whole to reduce and eliminate plastic. We can assure you our product team are working on this and our burger products are moving into boxes before end of 2020.
